For The Gap Map Specifically

1. What This Covers
These Terms & Conditions apply to the purchase of The Gap Map, a paid strategic diagnostic service offered by Astre Creative ("Astre", "I", "me") to the purchaser ("you", "the client").
By purchasing The Gap Map, you agree to these terms.
2. The Service
The Gap Map is a fully asynchronous strategic diagnostic. There is no live call, meeting, or appointment involved at any point in the process.
The service involves Astre reviewing the client's business across five Focus Areas (Brand Story, Brand Visuals, Website, Red Carpet, Experience) based on information the client provides via a discovery form, together with publicly available material (e.g. the client's website and social channels).
Astre then delivers a written diagnostic report ("the Gap Map") identifying where friction exists in the client's brand, what matters most to address, and a recommended path forward, accompanied by a video walkthrough.
3. Purchase & Payment
The Gap Map is purchased in full at the time of order via Astre's website (Squarespace checkout), in AUD. Astre isn’t responsible for any currency conversion fees.
The price at time of purchase is the price payable. Any future price changes do not apply retroactively to completed purchases.
GST is included.
Payment is processed via Squarespace Payments, Secure SSL Checkout.
4. The Discovery Form & Turnaround
Immediately after purchase, the client receives a discovery form. Work on the client's Gap Map does not begin until this form is submitted complete.
Astre's stated turnaround is 5–8 business days from the date the completed discovery form is received, not from the date of purchase. Turnaround time is an estimate, not a guaranteed delivery date, though Astre will communicate proactively if a delay is expected.
If the client fails to complete the discovery form within 7 days, a follow up email will be sent. If the client fails to complete the discovery form and no communication has been received within 14 days, a refund will be issued, with an admin fee of $44 (10%) applied.
5. Delivery
The Gap Map is delivered digitally and consists of:
A written report (PDF), covering: current landscape, patterns observed, a breakdown across the five Focus Areas, the diagnosed gap, the recommended priority, what the client should not change, and a recommended path forward.
A recorded video walkthrough (Loom) talking the client through the findings.
There is no live presentation of the Gap Map at any stage.
6. Use of GenAI and AI tools
Unless the client specifically requests otherwise, Astre may use AI tools as part of preparing the client's Gap Map.
This use is restricted to formatting, structuring, and finalising the written PDF report. It does not extend to the content of the report.
The thinking, analysis, findings, and recommendations that make up the Gap Map are prepared personally by Claire. AI is not used to generate the diagnosis, the opinions, or the recommendations themselves. The client’s direct answers to the discovery form will not be input to any AI tool, only the notes prepared personally by Claire.
A client who would prefer no AI involvement at any stage, including formatting, can request this before submitting their discovery form.
7. Clarification & Scope Boundary
A limited amount of follow-up clarification is included after delivery, limited to questions directly about the content of the Gap Map itself, within 14 days of delivery.
Requests that go beyond clarification (e.g. asking Astre to develop a broader strategy, restructure offers, or provide ongoing advice) fall outside the scope of The Gap Map and constitute a separate, separately quoted engagement (e.g. Nova, Equinox, or Solstice).
8. Refunds & Cancellations
If a client purchases The Gap Map but does not complete the discovery form, and no communication is received from the client, a refund will be issued 14 days after the date of purchase, less a $44 (10%) administration fee to cover payment processing costs.
If a client has requested an extension before the 14-day window closes, a new 14-day window applies from the date of that request.
Where a refund is issued for any other reason at the client's request, the same $44 administration fee applies.
Once a discovery form has been submitted and work has commenced, refunds are not available, as Astre will have begun substantive work on the client's Gap Map.
9. Confidentiality & Use of Information
Information the client provides through the discovery form, and any material shared for the purpose of preparing the Gap Map, is used solely to prepare that client's Gap Map.
The discovery form doesn’t ask any questions that should require confidential information.
Astre will not share the client's business information with third parties, and will not use it to promote or market to the client's own audience without separate, explicit permission (e.g. for a case study or testimonial).
The client may request deletion of information they shared via the discovery form at any point by emailing support@astrecreative.co
10. Intellectual Property
The completed Gap Map (the written report and video) belongs to the client on delivery, for the client's own use in their business.
Astre retains ownership of its underlying methodology, frameworks, and any proprietary process used to produce the Gap Map. Purchasing a Gap Map does not grant the client rights to Astre's broader methodology, templates, or frameworks beyond their own completed report.
11. No Guarantee of Outcome
The Gap Map is a professional opinion and diagnostic assessment, based on the information available at the time. It is not a guarantee of business results, revenue, client conversion, or any other outcome, whether or not the client acts on the recommendations provided.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Astre's total liability arising from or in connection with The Gap Map, however arising (including negligence), is limited to the amount paid by the client for the service.
Astre is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of business opportunity, or reputational harm, arising from the client's use of or reliance on the Gap Map or its recommendations.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy conferred on the client under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified.
12. Governing Law
These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or The Gap Map, are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Each party submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.
