SERVICES GUIDE

Design Boost

A one-day, high-touch design intensive for focused projects that need fast turnaround without sacrificing strategy or polish. It’s short, sharp, and seriously effective.


WHAT’S INCLUDED:

INVESTMENT:

  • $680 for one day

  • $1360 for two days

All prices are listed in AUD.

PAYMENT OPTIONS:

  • Pay in Full Upfront

  • Pay 50% deposit, 50% before we start.

HOW IT WORKS:

The Design Boost is a Design Intensive — projects require 1-2 days of preparation from both client and designer, then 1-2 days of hyper-focused design implementation. Then you have post support of up to 5 days for any minor changes.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Book a Design Boost service online
    - Fill out the enquiry form. Form can be found here →
    - Receive confirmation

  2. 15-30min Clarity Call
    - Discuss the Project goals and outcomes
    - Establish Creative Wishlist (based on priority and impact)
    - Agree on timeline

  3. Onboarding
    - Receive Project Proposal (Brief)
    - Make payment, sign paperwork
    - Receive Preparation Checklist
    - Receive Access to Project Slack Channel

  4. Prior to Start
    - All items on the Preparation Checklist must be completed before we start the intensive. If Intensive has to be postponed, fees may be incurred.

  5. Start Intensive
    - The Designer will start the Intensive, focusing on the first item of priority.
    - Semi-regular check-ins via Slack
    - Once the first item is complete and sent for approvals, the Designer will then make their way through the rest of the list.

  6. Handover
    - Once the day is finished, the Designer will do a debrief over email or video call.
    - All completed folders and files will be handed over via email and linked in the Slack Channel

  7. Post Intensive Support
    - The next day, the Designer will film a series of walkthrough videos over Loom to further explain the deliverables and outcomes.
    - You have up to 5 days of support. This means any minor changes — eg. a size change, something doesn’t work so a quick troubleshoot, a small detail adjusted etc.
    - It’s up to the Designer’s discretion what counts as “minor changes” and may recommend organising another Design Boost for anything extensive.

HOW IT WORKS:

The Design Build is a comprehensive and fully tailored service. Some projects will require preparation from both the client and designer, some we can dive straight into.

Timelines are all dependent on deliverables, availability and deadlines— this kind of project tends to take between 2-6 weeks on average. A timeline will be provided in your Proposal.

All Projects are split into three key stages, with check-ins and revisions incorporated :

Stage 1: Foundation

  1. Book a Design Build service online
    - Fill out the enquiry form. Form can be found here →
    - Receive confirmation

  2. 15-30min Clarity Call
    - Discuss the Project goals and outcomes
    - Agree on timeline

  3. Onboarding
    - Receive Project Proposal (Brief)
    - Make payment, sign paperwork
    - Receive Preparation Checklist
    - Receive Access to the Project Slack Channel

  4. Prior to Start
    - All items on the Preparation Checklist must be completed before we start the project. If the project has to be postponed, fees may be incurred.

Stage 2: Project

  1. Discover
    - Research, Creative Direction, Moodboards and Initial Concepts
    - Milestone #1: Revision Round 1

  2. Design
    - Design the Deliverables using approved direction/concepts from the Discover phase.
    - Milestone #2: Revision Round 2 (Midway Point)
    - Refinement
    - Milestone #3: Revision Round 3

  3. Deliver
    - Wrap up all Deliverables — making them print-ready, launch-ready, organised in folders, user-friendly etc.
    - Official Handover — walkthrough via a 90min video call.

Stage 3: Post-Project

  1. Post-Project Support
    - Up to 7 Days of immediate Priority Support is available for any minor changes and adjustments
    - It’s up to the Designer’s discretion what counts as “minor changes” and may recommend organising a Design Boost for anything extensive.
